Feeling Helpless

What to do when you can do nothing? This is a question I am faced with now. I have friends going through a tough situation and I can do nothing to help. I am thousands of miles away and just my positive thoughts and prayers go to them. I am hopeful that brighter days will come and I wish they would have the same faith.

We can always ask why when negative things happen or we can focus on the glimmer of positive in each day. One can hope that there is a reason for everything that happens. Love is hard to give and hard to receive. For my friends to receive the love that I and many others are sending is going to be difficult.

When there is nothing else to do, just love.

LA single scene

Well, I have been single in the city for a while now. There are so many interesting people to meet in this city. There are a ton of fun and "single acceptable" things to do. "Single Acceptable" are events, locations, and places where you feel comfortable being alone.

I technically live in Orange Country in the city of Anaheim Hills, I work in downtown LA and usually hang out in Hollywood. I feel like the entire area has become my home and more recently I have been wondering down to San Diego. I have a larger personal geographical range than I did in Ohio.

I have found that I love doing new things alone and understanding my surroundings. I want to keep you updated on my adventures of life in SoCal.

Time flies

It has been almost two years since my last blog. I now live in Los Angeles and I love every minute of it. I am going to keep this more up to date. I don't know what my topics are going to be dance, single life in LA, and information architecture. Let's see where we can go from there.
